Briggs and Trials, together as A.B. Original, have announced that they will release their debut album “Reclaim Australia” – a name that brilliantly lampoons and ridicules the far-right political group – later this year.

A.B. Original write songs in the spirit of rap royalty like N.W.A and West Side Connection, while lyrically bringing attention to issues closer to home. They are a new and refreshing wave of revolution music that urges Australia, and the world, to look critically and more responsibly at the treatment of Aboriginal people in all contexts and places. Briggs, of the Yorta Yorta people, and Trials of the Ngarrindjeri tribe, are proud, socially conscious and outspoken Indigenous artists whose album is sure to be as strong as their two already released singles – “2 Black 2 Strong” and “January 26” – have been.

“Reclaim Australia” will be released in late 2016 via Hilltop Hoods’ label Golden Era Records and of course, Bad Apples Music.
