A.B. Original set triple j breakfast alight when they took over the show on Wednesday July 6 to celebrate NAIDOC Week. During the show Briggs and Trials played their favourite tunes by Indigenous artists, with Trials proclaiming they put up, “three hours of very good music, very black music, celebrating black excellence, which is what NAIDOC is all about.” Their playlist included songs from The Lonely Boys, B2M, Gurrumul Yunupingu, Emma Donovan and The Putbacks and Yothu Yindi. On the show A.B. Original also announced to triple j’s wide listenership that their hotly anticipated debut album will be called Reclaim Australia, and will be out later this year.
