Leading into the 2015 National Indigenous Music Awards in Darwin, NT as the most nominated artist, Briggs realizes that people are listening to him; his voice can create social change and give light to a new era of hip-hop in Australia.

His career has lead him to a point where it is now time for Briggs to provide pathways for emerging Indigenous artists and create his legacy of ‘Black Excellence”

Off the back of his acclaimed 2014 album ‘Sheplife’, Briggs has established his own record label – Bad Apples Music to provide emerging Indigenous artists with the same opportunities he got.
