In an Australian exclusive performance, local hip-hop hero and cultural renaissance man Briggs and friends storms the Sydney Opera House with his fearless Bad Apples collective.

The Bad Apples House Party rocks the Joan Sutherland Theatre

One of Australia’s true multi-hyphenate stars, rapper, producer and media entrepreneur Briggs is joined by members of his indigenous collective for the Bad Apples House Party, a night of no-holds barred hip-hop attitude in the Joan Sutherland Theatre.

Since his early days signed to the Hilltop Hoods’ Golden Era label and the explosive albums The Blacklist and Sheplife, the Shepparton-born, Yorta Yorta Briggs has gone from strength to strength, forming the hip-hop duo A.B. Original, creating the nation’s first indigenous-owned label, Bad Apples, touring with his hero, Ice Cube, winning ARIA and J Awards, starring in the acclaimed ABC series Cleverman, appearing on Get Krackin, and even writing scripts for Simpsons creator Matt Groening.

Gifted with a rapid-fire, melodic delivery and an uncompromising sense of justice, the outspoken rapper (and NAIDOC Artist Of The Year 2018) has brought his considerable powers to bear on systemic racism. Vital, vitriolic, and tons of fun, Briggs is a must-see.
