Rapper Briggs On The Rise Of Indigenous Hip-Hop

Briggs recognizes that his newly established all Aboriginal record label; Bad Apples Music is an important part of his already successful brand of ‘Briggs’. The label and the young rappers on the roster, are all too aware of the decreasing spend on albums and will diversify their product by being creative with their engagements with their fans.

For the Australian rap scene to reach out to international markets, Briggs has promised that the Bad Apples roster will return to the true essence of ‘Hip Hop’, highlighting the struggle faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia, giving voice to the ‘disenfranchised.
